I'm Yeon, an exhibit graphic designer based in Minnesota. 

My work is the readable layer of an exhibit: typographic hierarchy that holds at ten feet, panel systems that stay consistent across a whole gallery, and production files a fabricator can run without a single RFI. I got here sideways. 

I studied Exhibit & Experience Design and Graphic Design at Bemidji State, then went into commercial millwork as a project manager and designer — AutoCAD shop drawings, material specifications, ADA compliance review, and 100+ cabinet packages carried from drawing to install. 

That means I design graphics already knowing what a substrate weighs, how it mounts to a case, what a shop will send back as a question, and what "field verify" actually costs. Most graphic designers learn that on the job. I learned it first.
